Steampunk Valentines: Hearts a Flutter Christian

Hello! I am back with another image from the new Simply B Stamps release: Teen Scene Steampunk Valentines. Today we are previewing Christian (the whole set will be available for purchase on Friday). As always, I love Christian. The images of him are often some of  my faves in the SBS sets.

Look at the cool flying heart he built! Doesn’t he look proud? I colored him with black hair for the first time, and I like how it came out.

I used a mix of watercolor markers and Copics (I know, I know…some of you are probably gasping at me using watercolor markers with solvent markers all the time!). I also used a clock screen by Tim Holtz. Up the side of the image I stamped “achieve endless possibilities” from Inkadinkado.

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium .
