Live Each Day Layout

Hi! This week, the Stampendous team has been sharing lots of projects featuring flowers and foliage. Today, I am sharing a scrapbook page. Gosh...it's been far too long since I have had one of these up here in Bloggy Land. The photo I used is of my daughter when we went on a trip to Strausburg Railroad in Pennsylvania. Whenever we go there, we ride in an open air car...they are so relaxing, and the breeze that comes in is wonderful. My kids love to lean out (just a little) and let the wind blow through their hair.  Supplies: Stampendous: P285: Live Each Day DCP1005: Fitted Frames Set A DCP1006: Fitted Frames Set B DWLX7011: Big Dots Stencil DWLJ808: Cathedral Windows Large Stencil DWLX7012: Waves and Dots Stencil FREG029: Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel PK03: Gemstone Embossing Powder Kit EI101: Boss Gloss Embossing Ink with Dauber MPW811: Mixed Media Paper Acrylic Stamp Handle STF082: Onyx Black VersaFine Ink Creative Impressions: Ribbon Others: Tombow Dual

Happy Birthday Janelle!

Hello! I have an extra post for you today because the Stampendous team is celebrating a very special day. It's Janelle Stollfus' birthday! She is in charge of keeping our collaborations on track, as well as the Stampendous Blog, and helps to field questions for the team. I love love the Balloon Stencil Duo . I have used it a few times already. There are lots of Stencil Duos available, and they all mix and match really well. I used the accompanying pen to draw out the balloon, and I colored it in with Memento Markers from Imagine Crafts . I stamped out my Happy Memories sentiment and heat embossed it with Amethyst PEARLustre embossing powder. Then, I drew in the string with my Tuxedo Black irRESISTables Pico Embellisher, also from Imagine Crafts. Please be sure to visit all of the gals wis

Hello! All week long, the Stampendous team has been sharing projects featuring sea-inspired projects. The card I'm sharing today is one of my favorites that I did for the April catalog. Horrorscopes with Wicked Wednesday

Greetings! Today I give you...something creepy..... Ahhhh, it feels good to be creepy again. I have been doing a whole lotta cute...which is great, but I much prefer dark and kinda evil. Mwahahaha! My 2nd post today (that's right! Second.) is for Wicked Wednesday . We are sponsored by Delicious Doodles this week, and the theme is "Horrorscopes." I worked with Scorpio, and I colored him (very carefully!) with my Memento Markers from Imagine Crafts . Then, I went to town with some irRESISTables sprays, also from Imagine Crafts. I used Desert Sand and Tuxedo Black. You can see the shine and texture that the irRESISTables have. I love that stuff! Please be sure to visit the Wicked Wednesday Blog to see what other Horrors the team have to share with you. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Bitsy Bugs with ADfD

Hello! It's time for a new challenge with A Day for Daisies . This week, we are showcasing Fall Cuties and Bitsy Bugs, and I decided to work with Bitsy Bug Dot . The challenge theme is Add Some Glitter, which is always fun! I made this card for my Mom's birthday, which was yesterday. I colored her with my Tombow markers, and I used Stickles for her wings. The die cut is from Stampendous ' Fitted Frames Set A . I used some assorted paper scraps for the background, and a sentiment also from Stampendous, inked with Black Shimmer Delicata Ink from Imagine Crafts. It's a pretty clean and simple card, which my mom happens to like. I hope that you'll play along with us in this fun glitter challenge. Please be sure to visit the A Day for Daisies Blog to see what the rest of the team has made. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Love is Love with Nathalie Kalbach and Friends

The Stampendous team is showcasing the fabulous stamps and stencils from Nathalie Kalbach this week, and some of Nathalie's friends have been joining us. There are 3 prize packaages up for grabs, and anyone can win! Visit the Stampendous Blog for full details. I have been thinking a lot about the recent tragedy to the LGBT community in Orlando, and I decided to use Nathalie's Urban Scribble set for today's project. I started off with the foam stamp (the blank side) and colored a rainbow on it using my Tombow Dual Brush markers. I sprayed the foam stamp with a little water to re-wet the colors, and get some nice splotches. I applied the stamp, then I went back with the detail stamp and inked it up with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Then, using the stencil that comes in the Urban Scribble set, plus the Picasso tool, I stenciled some pixelated clouds in the background. I hand wrote "Love is Love." I decided to not make this a card..but rather some

Something Quirky with Wicked Wednesday

Hello! It's time for a new Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge! This week, we are sponsored by Bloobel Stamps , and the theme is "Something Quirky." I used Peekaboo Lulu for my ATC. I colored her with my Tombow Recycled Pencils. I fussy cut her out, and used a fun sentiment from Stampendous Spring Sentiments set. I spritzed my ATC base with some Pink Lemonade Memories Mist and I added washi tape to the top and bottom. I'd love for you to play along with us, and to visit the rest of the team over on the Wicked Wednesday Blog . Thank for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Summer Seal Waiting

Hello! It's time for me to share my latest A Day for Daisies project with you. Since last week, we on the Design Team have been sharing projects featuring the June Club Kit....the Summer Seals collection. And they are adorable!!! I used Summer Seal Waiting for my project. This seal is just so sweet. They all are, really. I love all of the flowers around her too. I painted the image and background with watercolors. I used a sentiment from Stampendous' Ocean Wisdom set, and the sand was created with their Golden Sand embossing powder. I added some self-stick ribbon from May Arts to trim the bottom of the image, and of course I inked up my edges. Please be sure to visit the A Day for Daisies Blog to see what the rest of the team created. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Bookworm with Wicked Wednesday

Hello! It's time for a new challenge with Wicked Wednesday . This week, our ATC theme is "Bookworm," and our sponsor is Ching-Chou Kuik. You may remember her amazing artwork from Sweet Pea Stamps, but you can now get her images directly though Ching-Chou Kuik's Etsy page . I used watercolors for the image, which is actually called " Bookworm ." I added a little bit of glitter to her wings too. I tore up a page from an old book and added that behind the image, a little more glitter, and a blue base. Simple enough, so that the lovely and detailed image really took center stage. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Wicked Wednesday team to see what they cooked up this week. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
