Add a Die Cute with WW

Greetings! It's time for a new Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge. This week, we are sponsored by Lemon Shortbread and the challenge is to "Add a Die Cut." I used Mushroom Fary Pixie for my ATC and I colored her with my Zig Clean Color Markers. Then I had an oops. I was spraying another project with Dylusions sprays, and my overspray went on my image! So, I had to make do, so I added more color using the leftover that was on my craft sheet. I just flipped the ATC over and pressed it into the wet spray. Not what I originally wanted, but it worked out ok. Then I added a few gems and a teeny die cut tag. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Wicked Wednesday team over on the Blog . Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Lap Full of Kittens

Hello! Today I have a new card featuring A Day for Daisies to share with you. I made this card for my mom, who is going through some things right now...and i though a card would cheer her up. My mom has a lot of cats, so I knew this image, called A Lap Full of Kittens , would be purrfect for her. I colored the image on Mixed Media Paper by Canson with my Zig Clean Color Markers. I used my water brush a bit too. The kittens are colored to look like some of my mom's cats. My background was done with Dreamweaver Stencils' (via Stampendous ) Mosaic Swirls stencil and 2 Dylusions sprays. My sentiment is also from Stampendous, from their  Cat Sayings  set. That' it for me today. I'll have a new Wicked Wednesday ATC for you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

4 Legged Creatures with LOC

Hello! It's been a while since I played along with Left of Center , but it was time for me to jump back in with the team. The latest challenge is 4 Legged Creatures, and we are sponsored by Nikki Burnette , who I love. I chose to work with Riley and her adorable cat, and I used the image on an ATC, so the finished piece is only 2 1/2" x 3 1/2." I colored it with my Zig Clean Color Markers, and i chalked the background. Around the edge of the ATC, I inked Brown Shimmer Delicata ink which is just perfect for all things steampunk. I love the entire Delicata line from Imagine . Please be sure to visit the rest of the LOC B Team over on the blog. Thanks to Nikki Burnette for sponsoring us! Thank you for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Getting Ready for Halloween with Wicked Wednesday

Hello! We are Getting Ready for Halloween over at Wicked Wednesday . That's our theme this week, and we are sponsored by MMedel Illustrations . I used 2 of their images, and they're both adorable! I colored the images with my Tombow Dual Brush Markers. I fussy cut them out and added them to a spiderweb background. I added some super fun, chunky and uber sparkly Frantage from Stampendous in the corners. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Wicked Wednesday team over on the blog. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Free Time

Hello! Free Time is not something I ever have very much of, but it's the name of the digi I used from A Day for Daisies today. Last week, I shared the card I made for my daughter on her first day of school. This is the card I made for my son. My son loooooves to read, so I knew this would be perfect for him. And, to add a little bit more personalization, I mismatched the socks on the boy, just like my son does every day. I used my Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush to color in the image. My boy likes a bit of sparkle, so I spritzed my card with Imagine's Sheer Shimmer in Sparkle . My sentiment is from Stampendous . I'm happy to report that he had a great first day, and he loved his card. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Sweet Bookmarks

Hello! The Imagine theme this month is "Books" so I decided to do something I love to make....bookmarks! They're fun, simple to make, totally customizable, and useful. Supplies : Imagine : Memento Markers Memento Ink Pad in Tuxedo Black Other : Sweet Stamp Shop : Book Club Xyron: Creative Station with Laminating Cartridge Stampendous : Mixed Media Paper Acrylic Stamping Block Twine/Ribbon Hole Punch Directions : 1. Begin by cutting Mixed Media Paper to your desired size bookmark. Stamp the images with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. 2. Color the stamped images with Memento Markers. I love how blendable these markers are, yet they dry pretty quickly. They're perfect for quick coloring projects of all kinds. The stamps I used are all about books, and there's a stamp in the set that allows you to write out the info about a specific book. Being the Twi-Hard that I am, I decided to make my first bookmark about Twilight. The fact that you can rate th

Fall Colors with Wicked Wednesday

Hello! I have a new Wicked Wednesday challenge to share with you. This week, our ATC's are featuring "Fall Colors," and our fabulous sponsor is Alicia Bel .  I used Julieta Coquette for mine. I colored her with my Zig Clean Color Markers and oh-so-carefully cut her out.  I used a couple of sprays for my background, and topped it off with the Spider Web Stencil from Dreamweaver with some VersaFine ink from Dreamweaver. Please play along this week by linking up your ATC to the Wicked Wednesday Blog . Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Home Lunch

Hello! I have a new A Day for Daisies project to share with you today. My kids started school today, and I always make them a card for the first day of school. Each year, I find myself using A Day for Daises images, because they're always so sweet and perfect. This year is no different. This is the card I made for my daughter. She loves bright, bold colors, so this will be right up her alley. I used Home Lunch from ADfD, and I colored the image with my Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush. I always tuck little notes into my children's lunches and snacks, so this image really is perfect. The die cut I used is from Stampendous' Fitted Frames Set A, and I spritzed Turquoise Mister from Deco Art on to a Tim Holtz stencil. It's nice and shimmery. My daughter loves washi tape, so I needed to add some of that to the card too. And polka dots never hurt anyone, right? Next week, I'll be sharing the card that I made for my son, so please come back to check

Use Some Wood with ADfD

Welcome! Today I have a new A Day for Daises Challenge to share with you. Remember, our challenges now last a full month, so you have plenty of time to play along. Our theme for September is "Add Some Wood." Here's what I made, using Owl Nephew . What a sweet owl, right? I colored him with my Zig Clean Color Markers. I cut around him in a cloud shape, and decided to keep going with scraps of grey paper. I also broke out the Dreams are Made stamp set from Hero Arts (I told you I was going to use it a lot!), and stamped one of the sentiments on the lower left cloud. It reads, "my soul is in the sky." I used foam squares to pop up the image. As for my "wood" for the challenge theme, well, the owl is sitting on a branch, and I used an old favorite wood grain stamp (from All Night Media) to stamp on one of the clouds. I hope you'll join us this month. Please visit the A Day for Daises Blog to see what the rest of the team has created. Tha
